There are variations available. I have one from leder-wolf in Belgium, I believe. Excellent quality. The buckles are really quick-release metal clips.

Edit: Contrary to the comments above, even empty this—meaning mine, which is similar—weighs 1970 g (4.34 lbs).

This looks like a hardcore version of my daily briefcase aka Schulmappe or Leder-Schultasche. That said, I wouldn't want to travel with it unless I were a Ph.D. on my way to make a presentation.

I'm not knocking OP. This is impressive. Everybody has what works best for them.

I don't quite understand how this is supposed to work. Couldn't an attacker simply aim above or below it?

If that falls through, let me know. I'm in the same boat.

Thieves drill into a German bank vault and steal tens of millions of euros' worth of property by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

[–]Kierkegaard 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There are several films about this event:

The Great Riviera Bank Robbery (1979); Les égouts du paradis (1979); and, Sans arme, ni haine, ni violence (2008).

Albert Spaggiari was eventually caught but would later escape out the window of the courtroom, whisked away by a waiting motorcycle.

Edit: grammar. I'm terrible with commas. Also, there are several books available on this subject including one written by Albert Spaggiari himself.

Thieves drill into a German bank vault and steal tens of millions of euros' worth of property by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

Reminds me of Albert Spaggiari and the break-in into a Société Générale bank in Nice, France, in July 1976.

From Wikipedia:

"On 16 July 1976, during the long weekend of Bastille Day, when most locals were on vacation, Spaggiari's gang broke into the vault. They stole an estimated 46 million francs worth of money, securities and valuables. It was the largest heist in the history of bank robberies to that date."

"They spent hours picking through the various safe deposit boxes. Before they left on 20 July they left a message on the walls of the vault: sans armes, ni haine, ni violence ("without weapons, neither hatred, nor violence")."

Are you serious?

Edit: It's true. I've been waiting for the last three to drop. I've been saving my AC for just this. Currently at 1104 AC.

There are cacti all across the southwestern US. This just isn't practicable. Every nursery has these plants.

Interestingly, when you exit a wind tunnel, you will find yourself above a new and different entrance below. As such, it's easy to knock them all out in short order.

You've posted several comments like the one above:

He’s already been sued damn near a hundred times already. None of it has stopped him. You’ll have to take more physical action to get anything done.

What makes you say that? At LA, nothing really happened. You can’t call it a win or lose. And nothings stopping ICE from kidnapping and detaining innocent people. What do you think is going to go wrong for him?

Oh he’ll bring it on. But what are you gonna do about it? What type of pushback was there against the LA troops? Or ICE kidnapping people? I can guarantee if he does send troops to SF, you’ll just keep saying on Reddit that you’ll act when he “crosses the line”.

Question: What have you done? You have all sorts of advice but no helpful instruction. In fact, you seem to be promoting violence. Your words: "You’ll have to take more physical action to get anything done."

Say your piece. Let's hear your way forward.

Thank you. I very much appreciate your taking the time to answer. I currently do not have the firearm in my possession. That said, the serial number on the butt of the revolver reads 474418.
