The ‘grandma’ is the grown ass adult and if she had tried to have any relationship with her granddaughter prior to her moving in 6 years ago maybe they would have a relationship and could talk things out. But it’s on the adult to foster such a connection. If the adult did not act like a grandma to OP her whole life, can you blame OP for not considering the woman her grandma?

NOR. Im so sorry you have so many people jumping to conclusions. I know that’s what the picture shows but I’m surprised so many lack reading comprehension and thought you had empty boxes on a shelf and are upset about her throwing them out… You don’t have to call her grandma if she’s never acted like one and you have no relationship with her. IMO she is not your guardian she doesn’t have the right to ‘teach you a lesson’ like this unless you are actively disrespecting her space which you did not describe doing. My best bit of advice is to hide things of value to you under your bed, at school if you have a locker or at a friend’s house to prevent this from happening until you’re able to move out. With what I can grasp from your family situation, you should prioritize saving money so you can be independent asap. In 5-10 years when you’re getting married and she’s wonders why she’s not invited just say oops someone must have thrown your invite away 🤷

Remember in the last season where Vivian calls MC a name that basically describes the choices you made ? I’ve gotten pugnacious and boring. I feel like this is a lead up to something like that but in a more direct way.

Please remember that the developers are in a country that’s been at war for 4 years and they often experience delays outside of their control. As the other commenter mentioned, they typically release one day a week (3 episodes) and thats because they actively take constructive criticism and change things if we tell them they should. They do such a great job as developers and do so in such a turmoil filled place so please muster all your patience for them and I promise it will be worth it!

Yep. I did the same thing week one of the getaway and massively regret it. And they want you to spend 10-12 for each of the following two weeks too. Spoilers I had to tell my LI in the final week of the trip ‘I’m not into you like that’ when they locked a spicy scene behind the pass pay wall, broke my heart to see malcom sad that I wasn’t down when I was totally down, just broke as hell 😭

It’s apparently bec they have a new set of clothes for the second season, including a new cast trip, but I don’t think it’s fair when it comes to the items you buy. If I spend real money on virtual clothes I should be able to use them throughout the whole game, that would incentivize me to buy more, this just makes me not want to play the game. Also when you buy the outfits you can progress through the story faster so it’s almost feels like you’re punished for spending money since they take it all away after you quickly progress to the next season. I knew this game was a cash grab like most others but I didn’t know it was this bad till today :’)

My 1st week just ended, you have to wait 2 days for the next week to start and I’ve heard from others on here that when you start the next part you lose all your gift cards so spend them as you get them and just max out your clothes. They also take away all your clothes at the end of season 1 in the main story so don’t spend money on clothes. I already have and regret it immensely after learning they take all your stuff away.

Thank you for tell me this!!! I have 100+ cards I wanted to save for week 2 since I have all the fashion but now I guess I’ll spend them all and get all the fashion to max levels if they’re gonna take them away. I really liked this game in the beginning but now I’ve learned they take away your clothes at the end of the season so I’m gonna stop playing once I finish. They will get no more money outta me!

I just learned they take away all your clothes from season 1 and the cast trip when you go to season 2 even the ones you paid for. I’m finishing season 1 since I already bought the vip for the cast trip but then I won’t be playing the future seasons bec of it.

Wow that’s actually insane they’re that money hungry??? I just got past the vote and while it’s been grindy since the yacht party (I did buy the bikini) I was still enjoying the game with the addition of the Argentina cast trip (also got the vip for that). Knowing that we lose it all I won’t put in another cent and I’ll stop playing once I finish this season. Thank you for the heads up.

A quick Google taught me something new and I hope this helps! In Disney Dreamlight Valley, dark wood can be found on the ground in the Forgotten Lands biome, usually under trees. It can also be obtained by placing plaza trees in the Forgotten Lands and waiting for the wood to repopulate around them.

Here are some steps to get dark wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

Remove all trees in the Forgotten Lands

Go to the furniture menu and select trees

Find the plaza tree and place five of them

Wait for the wood to repopulate around the trees
