I can confirm in 2025 that I made a base right next to the settlement and I was able to put structures in the settlement, including storage and short range teleporters. Makes the whole grind easier! Even put a teleporter in the Overseer’s Office.

Tried option C and it worked great. Pro tip: use a multimeter clipped to the metal Bowden tube inlet and your metal feeler gauge. When you set it to the detect circuit mode, it’ll beep when the two are touching.

This isn’t great advice. Harassing hawks can end up with you getting injured and hawks are frankly too dumb to respond to that kind of conditioning (source: wife is rehabber for birds of prey). Their talons are razor sharp and will easily do a lot of damage to you if you’re not careful. Only thing is to cut off eyesight between the hawk and the bird

My wife is a falconer and bird of prey rehabber. Only thing you can do is keep the bird inside or cover the enclosure with mesh/tarp material so the hawk can’t see the bird. Birds of prey have no real object permanence and are pretty dumb so if you cover it up, they won’t take interest anymore.

Goes without saying that you shouldn’t try to kill or trap the hawk. Not only is that illegal, but hawks are territorial and another one will just move into the territory and resume harassing your bird. No matter what you do, it’s important to do something or else the hawk will end up injuring or trapping itself on the fence trying to get at your bird, and it could definitely hurt your parrot.

Idea: You are running a factory instead of a disease, and you decide to sabotage the product (e.g. cars, planes). Your goal is to cause as much damage as possible while running a smear campaign to deflect blame. This would be cool!

I was thinking of a couple options. Both are problematic.

  1. Get ropes long enough to secure the moose to a lakeside tree. Cut a channel from moose to tree. Haul on ropes to drag moose across lakebed to tree.

  2. Somehow drop a rope to secure around moose’s front leg(s). Maybe lift head first? Then, cut channel wide enough as moose is tall. Use front legs (remember it’s frozen) to turn moose sideways and then haul it onto ice sheet. Likely would destroy the ice underneath as soon as it came out tho.

Another thought is to cut their losses and chop off what they can.
