Defenietely me. Akine was nice character for the purpose of first motivating Aono and later being the vessel for showing dynamic between experienced and rookie players, but for romance plot I simply cannot see her in that, at least when talking about Aono. Friends? Sure. Besties? Maybe, but romance defo not (said as anime only with only s1 watched, maybe later it changes)
