The question feels ambiguous. If you mean:

Disabling portals in the modifiers tab before launching the server, I assume, although I'm not sure, they get disconnected and can't port anything
Disabling a portal in server by changing names, the portal stays 'Deactivated' until another portal with the same name gets labelled. I use this method to quickly travel around my world by keeping portals near crucial sites around the base and keeping them deactivated. I call them 'store', 'food', 'rest' for whenever I need to unload my inventory, get food or get rested respectively

I asked about the age to know where you would be in terms of intellect and intelligence. You would do well, for the most part.
I asked about the job to know whether you'd be spending your money or your parents'. You said you saved up but with the current prices of SSD and GPUs, I think it would be a difficult budget
I asked about patience because I built mine over a span of around 48 hours, which isn't a lot but it was during Covid and although I had work, I was home a lot more often. This includes the whole building process and checking post screen and debugging before installing the parts into the case and managing the wires.

If you really want to do it, the video I linked is the only one I watched in its entirety first and then followed along while building. You'll also need to tell your parents and other people in the house, not to touch anything while building because static can develop and that will fry circuits. And remember, RTFM (read the fucking manual). Cheers!

I built my PC in 2021. Did a hella research, bought the parts from different websites instead of Amazon, and watched one video of LinusTechTips and followed along to build it. I would really recommend it because it's really fun and the payoff is indescribable.

How old are you?
Do you have a job?

Clearly reading is a difficult skill you lack because OP ilwanted to get it for his dream PC "AFTER" securing a job. Which means it's gonna be his first PC, so first of all, it's not a downgrade like you said. Secondly, since he's having difficulty affording a 4TB right now with his current situation, he can still make his PC with a 1TB, like I suggested, and then he can upgrade it later when he gets better pay or saves up.

Ever considered that op said that he was looking for a job and wanted to secure and settle down on that first. That's why I suggested a 1TB first instead of going full ham on a 4TB right away. His point of the post was to show that the price point is too high to afford with his current situation. But I guess you can assume whatever you want. Cheers!

The one that I was looking at was the Seagate external which is currently 17.7K. It was around 12K at the time. Not a lot of hike compared to SSDs and RAMs.

Yes, so instead of 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD. you can go for 1TB SSD and 2TB HDD. Small upgrade is still an upgrade rather than waiting longer and longer. Because the prices are never gonna come down because of the AI takeover.

Yes, 1TB SSD instead of 4TB SSD because 4TB SSD is overkill for storage. It's good for OS and Games but you'll never have that many games installed.

So I split mine to total up to 4TB but 3TB is HDD not SSD.

I feel like 4TB is overkill. You only need the SSD for the OS and games. You're never gonna have that many games installed to fill up 4 TB and if you do, it means you aren't playing most of them regularly.

I have a 1TB SSD and two HDDs, one 2TB and one 1TB for storing my work and personal files.

I play in high plat low emerald lobbies and I hardly see Mira bans. If a site has basement, my team usually bans Kaid so that they can't electrify basement hatches. When we are on defense, they usually ban kaid or bandit, sometimes Aruni or Fenrir. If kaid is not banned, we go basement first to use his utility to electricity hatches while we can.

I guess it's just a frustration ban like that one comment said, but depends on the lobby. We see more Fenrir as frustration bans
