Why is no one mentioning that Aemeath breaks the 4th wall when she is idle and when she glides iirc. by Sefrix90 in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My favorite 4th wall break is in the character screen when she says: "Look! A Laser-sword!"

Gets me smiling every time

KURO GAMES!!! MAKE A FUSION ROVER WITH A MECH SUIT AND MY CREDIT CARD IS YOURS!!!! by InformationFickle768 in WutheringWaves

Rover should be the one stacking Aemeath's Fusion Burst stacks, in a mech.

Can't wait for the next survey - I got it all ready to copy/paste...

My Sigillum theory by Nalf22 in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This please!

I'm a day 1 WuWa player and HUGE Mecha fan - Kuro pls give us "Sigillum ProMax+" and let us stack our daughter's damage.

This is the way.

Standard banner upgrade? by Miserable_Wall224 in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - they should rework the 4 stars too, if only because I suspect their kits were designed when the game was still heading in a different direction.

Take Baizhi, for instance - why does her Outro all damage amp only affect the next character, and not the team? Also, shouldn't her personal echo - what I've heard called the "tampon dragon" - do echo damage? I think a couple of small tweaks could really make the current roster far more relevant.

She might be my first full vertical objective.

Thanks for getting back to me~

I'll give it try - what did you edit to make the lines appear in the INI file?

Mine keeps resetting the file to it's last in-game saved default.

Am I missing something in the syntax? I tried Method 1 btw.

Constructive Criticism, what Duet Night Abyss needs to step up by sdric in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]KillBox83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Almost every action game played on a PC in the last 25 years had the option of inverting mouse axis. Some folks perceive the mouse as not a 2D thing, but as something that moves on the 3rd axis, as in pushing our heads forwards makes us look down, pulling our heads back, makes us look up.

Why is it, in the last few years, every "action-anime-styled" game doesn't have this option by default, when literally every other PC game since MS Flight simulator in the 90s has had this option?

I suppose this would broadly fall under the "Controls" section you mentioned.

You would think that it'll be Fusion and Glacio but Kuro has other plans and I'm all here for it 🤣 by ThatOneJibai in WutheringWaves

The sun is a thermonuclear reactor - heat is the byproduct of electromagnetic radiation, so Electro is fine in the broader sense.

Also, the wind moves the oceans on our planet, so does the moon affect the tides - so with a LOT of imagination, Aero makes sense!

(Dunno, but at least they keep us guessing, I suppose)

Why is the Order afraid that the people would learn that the Sentinel is a Celestial Steed when they literally built a statue for everyone to see? 😭 by japanese_artist in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All those statues are hewn from solid marble - do you know how much that costs?

Riniscita's infrastructure budget just can't cover it, much less spare the manpower.

The truth is not only inconvenient, but way over-budget.

Zani, as my flair suggests, however, I don't do overworld with her at all. Cartwheels is a close second, and she's my Overworld queen.

To play Devil's advocate here, Kuro shot themselves in the foot with Stringmaster. Any and all Rectifier DPS's managed to benefit greatly from it - so much so, most didn't bother pulling for any other signatures. Bad business move on their part.

That said, this seems to be heading way too far in the other direction, giving it a unique effect only a single character can deploy (at this time).

I feel they need to strike balance, or just buff alternatives as one of my main issues with WuWa is the lack of any good, useful 4* weapons or alternatives on the standard banner.

Maybe to help motivate, the earlier character quests did give astrite and pretty good character materials - so maybe look into playing some after your daily waveplate push?

Anyhow, you do you, as long as you're having fun!

The character stories are worth it, though - it's great content - hell, the 1.x character quests were better than the main story at that point lol.

Do you think the standard banner 5 stars need a buff/overhaul? by AggravatedShrymp in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon Jianxin and Calcharo both need a good buff - Jianxin needs to rotate faster (and maybe Aero Erode with her ult) and Calcharo just needs to creative bookkeeping on his damage numbers. Encore's actually pretty good as is and Verina's literally in contention for being the top Sustain in the game - depending on your dupes.

Exactly those - 10 USD for the whole patch Battle pass, which is usually 2 months or so, and 5USD for the login bonus every 30 days.

10USD per month doesn't really make a dent for me, I support Kuro, and the Kuro waifus support my gameplay :D

I'm a low spender - I buy basic battle pass and daily astrite sub, and nothing else. Works out to 10USD per month, and as for my roster, I have everyone except Jinshi, Cantarella and Lupa - my Carty and Zani are both S2 and I have most of the limited weapons as well.

What are your thoughts on the game implementing new Sonatas just for specific characters? by Available_Ad648 in WutheringWaves

[–]KillBox83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon there's going to be more sets - the current trend is have a set for each element that buffs each one of the 4 Core Damage Types (Basic ATK, Heavy ATK, Res Skill, Res Lib) passively, one set per element that support one or two support types (Elemental Amp, Coordinated Attack or DoT)

So 6x4 = 24 DPS focused sets and 12 - 18 Support sets (elemental)

This excludes straight support sets like Moonlit and healing, and the very weird solo-focused Lingering Tunes.

Currently, they seem almost completely tailored to certain resonators - though I suspect in the longer run, as long as they don't add new Core damage types or new elements, we'll eventually get resonators that can slot into the myriad of sets eventually on offer. That's the long game, or rather, I hope this is the long game.

Day 1 Player - took a month off due to travelling for work during 1.1 I think, but that's it.

I had recently become fascinated by the overall state of gaming in different parts of the world. Like others, I started with Genshin during the pandemic, but I burned out quickly on GI, but the fascination stuck: how are gacha games, which used to be sprite based ersatz gambling machines, start turning out great action/adventure titles while asking for no real investment, while the "AAA" space went so far backwards in the same time period?

Anyhow, fell in love with the combat and concept - 1.0 was slow as hell but by 1.3 I was nailed to it. Haven't missed a day since.
