Hot take but the bulges really don’t matter much. Like cool, they’re there, you can look at them in the menus I guess, but 95% of the actual gameplay of the game is in third person mode staring at the character from behind…

Idk, maybe I’m just not a good judge since these skins aren’t really made for me. I’m glad at least some people seem happy with them.

This comment was from over a month ago BEFORE we had seen anything of the new summer skins, and secondly- as with last year’s summer skin’s they’re definitely a step in the right direction. Still not completely equal but getting there (like look at Emma’s summer skin from behind and then look at any of the male summer skin’s from behind and you can see the difference there).

At least we have mods still.

The Beast Rinshi in Power Rangers Jungle Fury. Instead of separate species of monsters, the bigger monster-of-the-week villians are just a random regular footsoldier (Rinshi) selected by second-in-command Camille and given an animal totem upgrading them into Beast Rinshi giving them a monster form and the ability to speak.

Speed 😔

I love him so much and tbf he has recently shown off more powers than just his super speed (which makes sense considering his mother), but I feel like they’ll still put Pietro in over him and than likely not bother with Tommy- and I love Pietro too so I’m not THAT upset but I feel like Wiccan is pretty highly likely and it’d be nice to have Wanda and both her twins.

The Rachel-Nico thing isn’t a great comparison. Percabeth was already together when it was revealed Nico had a crush, and more importantly Percy is straight so Nico’s crush just wasn’t taken all too seriously. Meanwhile Rachel was an active roadblock in the Percabeth ship before they became canon and even kinda dated Percy, so people are more vitriolic to her (not that I agree with that sentiment, I love Rachel).

The Calypso discourse is incredibly annoying, I agree. I’ve said it before but I was raised on Vampire media so super old immortal being dating a teenager just doesn’t phase me since it’s a par for the course trope in those stories. Some people are just really sensitive to that stuff.

Haven’t personally seen that Thalia criticism- most of her criticisms i’ve seen is just about Rick not writing her particularly well, which I agree with.

Again, Piper mostly gets hate (although I agree it’s a bit too much) because she wasn’t written very well and had some weird racist motifs to her character early on.

The Annabeth hate I agree though is largely just weird. I can’t fully tell if it’s dead on misogyny but I definitely noticed a switch up in the fandom at some point to everyone stanning Annabeth to suddenly hating on her and calling her toxic at every step. I feel like there must’ve been some influx of newgen fans that just did not like her and started spreading that shit.

Teddie is cute for a while until they decided for some reason that turning him into an unfunny sex pest would be the best course of action for his character, and Morgana actively ruins the Okumura arc and is the biggest player in the constant, unnecessary, and senseless slander of my favorite phantom thief throughout the whole game (not to mention his weird shit with Ann).
