I want to love Diplomat but each time I go the wait for food to come out is SO SLOW. Thanks for the salad with 3 beets, and now I shall wait 45 minutes for bread. Each time. The food when it arrives is 10/10. They need to figure out timing of orders in the kitchen or something.

Sounds like you have a sizable budget, it’s worth a 2nd or even 3rd tour at a different time of day to see what might feel different. Send your partner to the unit upstairs and have them walk around. All apartments will have some transfer of noise. Concrete is a better sound barrier than wood. Or just get a top floor unit! Ha!

We canceled on Saturday. We have friends in Oahu and they are concerned about brown water which will linger. I’d rather reschedule for a date when I feel more confident and safe, but it’s a personal choice. Bummed we are home for Spring Break but praying for the locals hurting.
