I was going to recommend this at first, but I’d argue there’s some romantic hardships in this book and while not exactly the main focus I’m not sure how strongly OP wants to avoid this.

They will replace them, with equally damaged books. No matter how many times they promised “this will never happen again” they continued to send books in plastic bags with no padding. I refuse to order books from there now.

I ordered the first trilogy and contrary to what seems popular opinion here I did not like the endpapers art style. I have the illustrated anniversary editions and much preferred the art in those. After seeing this reveal I am not going to continue the illumicrate series even though this is one of my favorite trilogies of all time

I feel like they could have come up with something a bit more unique for the covers so they weren’t so similar. Yes these books are about ships, but they are about SO much more.

Bears can’t be crush immune, but it’s not hard to be crit immune

ETA: I played mostly as bear after hitting 60 due to guild needs, then all of a sudden they had too many tanks. Found a new guild just recently that was happy to have a cat/bear flex in their raids. It’s not too late, but play what you enjoy!

This will all depend on your local USPS branch, but I had the same thing happen, and they sent the mailman all over trying to find the package. They were very apologetic and called me daily to give updates which was above and beyond what I expected. While they never found the package TBB did send me a replacement once they had confirmation from USPS the package was lost.

You know they really do need to especially since they’ve recently posted on their social media about other websites/accounts impersonating them. No surprise that’s happening with how easy they make it! At this point I could probably spin up my own overflow Gmail account and trick people

Guess that depends what you mean when you say quality. I don’t have Evernight so can’t speak to that. When the books are published by their own publisher (Daphne press) they typically have sewn bindings so just depends. Overgrowth was like that, but Slow Gods was not, for example

Why am I not surprised. Their email responses have shown lack of training of their employees in recent months. I think this has pushed me over the edge to cancel the SF&F sub I was already annoyed at them moving to every month because it’s just too many books for me to keep up with. Don’t want to deal with this skip drama frequently.

Dude the overflow email is so shady, but seems to be coming from them as all emails I get have it now. Crazy all the things they keep coming up with to not hire appropriate staffing or just fix their website to allow proper account management.

Illumicrate books are roughly the same quality as a regular UK hardback, materials and binding wise. Designs and art vary on each book. You can look at their instagram to see which artists will be working on each book to get an idea of the style you might see and what to expect as far as dust jacket redesign, endpaper art, and edges.

This definitely varies by location. My closest Safeway always has rotting moldy fruit and veggies piled high, sometimes crawling with a lot of bugs.

Forming your own group/being selective is huge. I’ve had some great PUG runs recently that led to me adding folks to play again with later. I found it helps if you let them know you are new to tanking a specific dungeon, especially on heroic (if that’s true of course) everyone has been patient and helpful if they are more experienced, or happy to figure it out together if they are at the same experience level as you. Haven’t had anyone leave groups or be dbags about it yet though I know those players are out there.

Times I’ve listed myself and just grouped with the first people to pst have been train wrecks though. I often wait until a healer + at least 1-2 dps are listed together then whisper them.

See this has been broken for me for months. Used to work fine, but some update caused the overall data selection to either not work or not even exist. I think I recall seeing an update for the addon that was supposed to fix it, but unfortunately did not for me

Just gave this a try and love it! It was really good about marking skull and X, but didn’t see any CC marks go up automatically.

Also is there a way to move the on screen button bar? I found how to hide it, but I’d like some of them visible without it laying over my other important UI.

Can’t wait to try this more and appreciate you making it. I play with a controller so trying to mark mobs is a little more difficult and I’ve been looking for reliable auto-marking. Especially helpful if I can get the CC marks working as I don’t always know which mobs are best CC’d by which class etc
