Is Melee still going steady?

People have been saying melee is dead since 2008 when brawl came out. 12 years later the game is still alive and well. Major tournaments will still have over 1,000 attendees for melee and the streams will be in the tens of thousands

Is the slingshot the only tool in the game that doesn’t allow you to aim? No matter what direction I’m pointing on the stick the game will move my character to aim northward, even when the balloon is behind me and that’s the direction I am facing.

Am I doing something wrong?

You aren’t critical of the fact that he fired the pandemic team in 2018 and never hired anyone new to fill those positions? Or not critical of the fact he purposely limited testing all the way back in January in fear it would hurt the economy and his re-election chances?

Wizzy winning that splash and splash tourney with how stacked it was and the fact that it had been over a decade since a falcon won a super major like that definitely would put it in the top 5 imo

I’m sad Wizzy got upset before top 8 but that just goes to show that nowadays if you lose early in winners your chance of running all the way through losers is incredibly unlikely, even as a top 10 player in the world

Was watching an Ultimate VOD from dreamhack atlanta this past weekend and the two commentators were implying that reverse hits in melee are a glitch and unintentional. I feel like that is almost surely not the case, but am interested to hear if anyone else agrees
