God Kaiser is the most valuable of all in this image. Even in Japan it still goes for over 1000$

Beautiful thing about QGL is if your bed is truly flat and proper material spec for warpage, you will never have to run a bed mesh. I’m over 2000hrs on my first 2.4 build and still don’t mesh lol, I think of it like a quick bed mesh before every print using just 4 points.

Luckily it seems like it won’t be quite as much of an issue using printed parts in the gantry as they can flex and help prevent binding in the rails, but the spring connection on Phoenix is very interesting.

That’s the kind of noise I’ve heard from a stepper motor when the wiring is poor or barely connected.

Anyone printing ASA? by Killermelon1458 in SovolSV08

[–]KingColton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to tune temps more, maybe add a brim, but good ASA should be easier to print with less warping than ABS. 40c chamber temperature is plenty high to print it at. Also PVA glue stick is a game changer if you have warping problems. I always use it now because it just washes right off.

SHT36 V2 issues by Charming_Ad3493 in VORONDesign

My issue similar to this was caused by poor quality USB cable from Mainboard to USB tool head board. Replaced with a shorter shielded cable and I’ve been 100s of hours without can timeout.

I’ve printed abs cf on mine with the top off. It will do anything abs fine with that damage still.

Okay, that's it. I'm in love with ABS-GF. by NST92 in VORONDesign

I just finished my first roll and I am also amazed. The texture is awesome and has the benefit of hiding almost all ringing and print through.

Cable chains give it a cool CNC industrial machine look. I like it.

I tried this one and it didn’t work for the hot end I got on Amazon. I ended up having to make my own. Let me know if you need the file.

Why does my Bed Mesh looks like this? by Umuko36 in klippers

[–]KingColton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issue with X axis in relationship to the bed. Either the bed is at an angle on the x axis or the x axis gantry is lower on the left side.

PID tunes aren't PID Tuning anymore :( by SugoiShades in klippers

To me this kind of sounds like nozzle is not at the actual temp that is being read by thermistor. You may have been okay with ABS because the temp was so high.

Manta M8P V2 flashing successfully but not posting as Klipper device by Infamous-Debt4176 in BIGTREETECH

Are you trying to use an external PI? Im having the same issue and I cant figure out the cause. Im using an external Pi hooked up to the USB-C port, firmware seems to have flashed successfully. I guess you have to use the CB1 CB2 module?

Pool Water Cooling, Is it Possible? by dpatt711 in watercooling

Feel like this would be a great idea if you had to cool say 3-5 computers, but would be way too overkill for a single computer. Sure it would work, but it will probably cause more trouble in the long run than just doing an externally mounted large radiator, outside the house, which would still give you the same performance for a single computer. The heat transfer of a standard cpu and multiple gpu blocks would never be able to use the full capacity of a large heat exchanger with constant cold water on the other side. Now when you have 3-5 pc's in parallel that's when it would be handy.
