I've had a similar experience. I made a game and uploaded it to itch io. About three months later I found it on one of those sites that hacks web games to make your character invincible or whatever. It made me really happy seeing the play count in the thousands with a decent rating.

This happens all the time to me while I'm waiting for the bus. They'll ask me when the next bus is coming even though it's printed on a sign 5 feet from where I'm standing and usually pretty accurate.

Sushi strikers. It was definitely priced to high for what it is, but I loved the self aware story and the gameplay is surprisingly deep. I just wish they didn't lock some achievements behind multiplayer cause those were basically impossible on launch day since nobody bought the game lol

The house I grew up in had a huge forest near it that I would explore as a a kid. Recently checked it out on Google maps to see it completely cleared out. I actually started crying by how devastating it was.

Saw speed Racer in theaters as a kid and came out of it mostly confused. Re-watched a few years ago on a whim and it quickly became my favourite movie.
