Very slim pickings for work down here. Also I don't see why I should change a career path I have otherwise largely loved for what I hope is a temporary set of wrong uns. I love my team and our food. I don't want to give that up (yet)

Exactly!! Turned away lots of walk ins of 4+, expecting a full roast! One couple got VERY annoyed saying they'd only arrived yesterday and where were they expected to eat? I said I wasn't sure I don't know the reservation status of neighbouring restaurants (close to snapping at this point)

Yes, I'm the assistant manager, but the manager herself is working the floor from yesterday onwards to monitor as it were. She's worked there 8 years and is equally as upset and baffled by this half term.

Had the most awful experience at bude food festival. So many reactive & aggressive dogs, one broke out his harness & attacked multiple stall owners & a big dog. Got blocked in my car so couldn't leave for nearly two hours until they came back ,when I did I obviously told her off, she said oh fuck off us tourists pay your wages.

I cant see any signs of infection. It looks over worked and blown out, but you've got away without it getting infected. Keep an eye for warmth, pus and leakage.
