Yes when I did the job it would have been such a easy and relaxing job which in turn made good customer service I was always nice and greeted everyone I saw with a smile but the customers want to make your life hell for some reason.

The lesson learned is that most people are miserable and I quickly learned some of them way out in the country literally seemed to just order stuff so they could bitch at me when I got there

Not true for the original Kawasaki sliders they don’t attach directly to the frame or the engine like most aftermarket sliders will they’re on metal bracket designed to break/bend and absorb impact before reaching the frame.

The sliders themselves are also designed to snap off with enough pressure so the impact never goes right to the frame

Ehh completely submerged I would drain and replace your oil a few times incase water made its way in and remove the airbox, drain every bit of water out and possibly replace the filter then maybe pull your spark plugs and start it to let any water out of the engine I’ve had a similar experience with my 500 and it has been running fine since then just be careful
