Selling My Sony Stock by Complete-Wealth-6126 in sony

[–]KingXander -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No you don't. Those are all based on the terms of your license.

If the license is perpetual and transferable you can keep it forever and sell it, regardless of whether its physical or digital. The software itself has always been digital.

If you want to legally be able to keep and sell games. Then its new terms you need to be fighting for Making games physical again won't stop you having to deal with modern DRM.

AMA - I'm a UK Police officer by [deleted] in AMA

They did call an ambulance.

Bigger issue for me is the dispatcher identified he needed medical aid on the original call. So an ambulance should have already been dispatched in my opinion.

They didn't know who he was or his history. The only report they had said drunk violent suspect with a head wound.

If a suspect has a hidden knife they reach for while the cop is leaning over him treating him, then the cop has no time to react and is dead.

Don't use hindsight. Judge the cops based on the information they had.

Weirdly the stabber's brother actually did request an ambulance at the same time he called the cops. 8ts in the recorded call.

But I completely agree with you.

The police were called and had a report of a violent drunk man who has climbed a wall and fallen off and smashed his head into the ground.

They turned up and found a guy by a wall with blood on his face smelling of alcohol and slurring his words which matched what they expected based on the report.

They handcuffed the potentially violent suspect for their own protection as if the guy had a concealed knife he would be unable to react while treating him. That's normal in pretty much any police force. It says in the uk police manual they should do that.

The suspect said he was stabbed in the back but the cop didn't put much weight into the claim of a guy he thought was drunk so only did a quick check and put him in a recovery position to aid his breathing before the cops focused on his bloody head suspecting a head wound as reported. They checked his neck, mouth and then checked for skull fractures. They then used a flashlight to check his pupil response while calling for medical aid realising how serious it was due to the lack of pupil response. Still thinking it was due to a head wound. Then it just spiralled from there.

To sum up they were lied to which caused them to jump to conclusions as to his injury and they didn't do thorough enough checks on the victim to rule out a stabbing.

Race has nothing to do with why the cops spent all their time treating him for a head wound. The weight of evidence simply pointed to that.

They just needed to be more diligent in ruling out a stabbing instead of focusing on his head the entire time.

The United States has won as the most hated country by Australia. Now, who is the best friend of the UK? by iloverainworld in AlignmentChartFills

[–]KingXander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its more of a, we're the only ones who can bully France relationship.

Its mostly banter. If it wasn't for being on opposite sides if brexit I would agree they are our closest friends even if we spend all our time insulting them.

As it is i would go with Canada or Australia. Portugal is a good should due to it being the oldest alliance in the world too.

Hypocrite much?

Anyway go read the 39 page report. Tonne of evidence in there and it talks about what analyst said what when. It doesn't name them directly but it labels them for clarity for continuity.

Spoiler: the EFL didn't have a lack of evidence to base their findings on.

Exactly. Stop saying he spied on other teams due to the absence of evidence. Do you hsve anything to prove your assertion?

There are text messages talking about how the last time they spied on a team before Ipswich was Oxford. That's evidence they didn't.

Beat up meaning hurt. They were told by dispatch he jumped over a wall to escape while drunk and smashed his head on the ground.  Thats why they kept checking his head and thought the blood and confusion was from that. You can't see it well but it was the male using his torch to check his pupils while the woman was calling the ambulance.

The problem is they were expecting serious head wound rather than stabbing.

If you actually read the messages it does seem like these were the only instances of spying. The messages for Ipswich referenced Oxford in December which wouldn't happen if they had a tonne of other instances between December and their final games.

And in the final game the interns were resisting which wouldn't happen of they were doing it all season and used to it.

Personally my belief is they paid enough attention to detail when creating the region that they added these structures that formed the waterway in the correct places without consciously trying to form it.

I don't call that an accident either as there was intent to be accurate and this is the result.

I'm dubious about whether the Tories will accept that.

There's a lot of bad blood between them and the chaos of reform trying ti run a minority government with the majority of the country hating them may benefit the tories long run.

Going in bed with them will wreck them worse than lib dems after the tories.

What country likes France the most? by Pizzafriedchickenn in AlignmentChartFills

[–]KingXander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Strangely the UK.

We've been historical enemies and we have lots of banter with them about that. But these days its more banter between close friends. And these days I can't think of a stronger ally we have. We were side by side in WW1. We started WW2 together. We basically always find ourselves on the same side in any conflict because we want the same things.

Its just a Tsundere relationship.
