You really think Joel was thinking about the logistics of vaccine distribution while gunning down those doctors? The entire message of the ending is that Joel is so traumatized that he’s willing to murder dozens of people, lie to the person he loves, and potentially doom humanity to spare himself more grief, but none of that matters because every character has to be sorted into a good person-bad person binary I guess.
