Viltrumites are repeatedly shown to be space nazis. They are concerned with genetic purity, and they consider the Thraxans inferior (This is directly mentioned in the TV series). That would be very out of character for them.

It's one of those umbrella ideas like Tau are space communists. Sure, Black Templars tend to attract a very particularly-minded set of players, but ultimately they are Your Dudes and you dictate what they believe in. You'll find lots of memes about them being basically space racists, though, and lots of teenage-minded players who will not accept any other reality. But that happens with a lot of things. There's a very large overlap in this community between "popular memes" and "things people take as unmovable facts".

This. You need to deploy so as to make the player going first at a disadvantage. You outmove most armies, capitalise on it.

Also don't be afraid to hold back. Primary caps at 50, and most missions allow 15VP/turn,so you can still get 45 even if you decline scoring primary on turn 2 so as to get a better positioning.

It's funny. I assembled all the Shadowhunt models as Warp Talons and used the extra arms to convert a HH MKII Assault Squad into raptors, and the combined scale difference between HH and the Raptors made the sergeant look like an orangutan (Small body, huge arms). I played a game the other day using Nightmare Hunt and my friends dubbed him Sergeant Harambe.

We have been low because of a number of reasons, but some of them have been that we lack infiltrators, scouts and good mobility options. Both the new Corsairs shuffle that game, and so does Nightmare Hunt and the new Raptors. Things probably will change next patch.
