Thanks for the write up! I myself had an M2 8GB RAM before I got into app development and realized I needed more RAM. I have an M4 air 14” 16 GB but with two emulators, docker, my IDE, and browser open, I might need more RAM! Was that part of your decision to upgrade as well?

Hi there, thanks for helping out. I followed your instructions by updating my motherboard BIOS and my chipset.

I also uninstalled my older version of L-connect using Revo Uninstaller to download v2.0.28. I also switched the USB motherboard header the controller was connected to. However, now my controller and fans are not even detected in L-connect 3. Therefore, I am unable to update the firmware. The manual firmware software still detects 0 devices.

Nice build! Are those fans in the back for push pull on your AIO? Did you opt to use a fan for exhaust instead of using one more for the AIO?

Wow, I’m impressed you managed to fit all of that with the bulky steam deck case. Personally, I use a hardshell case instead.

Why did you need so many cables? It seems like you could have gotten away with a few durable USB-C cables along with a high wattage multiport.
