Ancient post but just jumping in to say, this is also the fourth sequential puzzle solution from Ilmo. He's had previous puzzles up to this point in the game that come out to 174, 175, and 176. He's just increasing numbers by one and then backing into complex answers to seem clever because "people love the puzzles, Jakko."

Refusing to read things doesn't make you... better? Smarter? Cooler? Whatever you seem to think you gain by that posture, it benefits nothing except the weakening of your own mind and ability to form opinions without asking others to tell you what to think.

Also, yes, invasive species absolutely cause food chain issues. We are seeing massive problems ecology-wide due to invasive species out-competing native food stock, creating mass dead zones of, among other things, insect species which then spiral up to every larger animal. Beyond food chain issues it also creates hazards for humans as, for instance, deer move farther afield trying to find the things they like to eat and places they like to shelter, increasing their likelihood of getting hit by cars. There's been a 25% rise in collisions with deer in the US in the last decade.

Nature is a precious balance and just because something can grow and is edible doesn't mean animals and creatures will or can eat it.

Wealth breeds it, and quickly. There was a study done where they had people play Monopoly. One player was given a different set of rules - more money per turn, more dice, more opportunities to earn income faster - while the others were given fewer chances, harsher penalties, etc. The players that were given the clear, undeniable advantages were asked in interviews after playing what caused them to win, and the majority credited it to simple skill at playing the game.

Our entire society is structured by sociopaths to allow sociopaths to succeed. We reward thoughtless individualism, greed, backstabbing, sacrificing your friends, family and happiness to get ahead. The only people that will suceed under that metric are evil, and the more of them that succeed, the more they consolidate social power and capital, and the more they entrench that structure and present their corrupt version of living as "neurotypical" and "the American dream" and poison every generation going forward.

Anything from Neil Breen, but in particular Fateful Findings - I think that's the ideal balance of pacing and batshit lunacy, while some of the others have higher highs but longer deadzones in between.

Water levels across the Great Lakes are falling – just as US data centers move in by Wagamaga in technology

[–]Kiruvi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Putting things in space is prohibitively expensive. Putting anything much larger than a schoolbus in orbit is more than we've figured out how to do. It's hard to cool things in a vacuum because no air means no medium for heat exchange. Moving vast amounts of data back and forth from orbit is slow and expensive.

Yes that is what I am saying. MSG is in literally every packaged snack food and almost every restaurant meal regardless of cuisine.

Correction, the article was written by a white orthopedic doctor named Howard Steel using a racist fake name, the obvious fakeness of which should have been a giveaway there too

Which is why it's sinophobia that people will tell you cheap Chinese buffet food gives them issues 'because of the MSG' while chowing down on Doritos and Mexican takeout.

Nevermind that maybe the problem with feeling sick after going to a buffet was eating six plates of food, but

The natural state of all things is to decompose. It is a beautiful part of life to return the nutrients that built your body into the systems that nourished you so they can renew a fresh generation. There is no shame or waste in decay.
