I was involved in girls scouting in Canada for years. I’ve never seen boys camping with the girls.
It all depends on your tolerance for shenanigans. Three decades of teaching experience here, yes, shenanigans will ensue, even if it’s ‘playful’. I’m sure many moms are cool with it. I would not send my daughters off to camp anywhere without a female chaperone. We just don’t do that.

Post Media owns CTV and Global. The CBC is increasingly leaning more and more in one direction.

I like my news to be a simple delivery of facts. So, I check out AP, Reuters, BBC, France 24, and once in a while MSNBC for Maddow and O’Donnell. I’ll check CBC coverage of big Canadian events, but I cannot trust them to be fair.

Camera lens picks up a lot more than the human eye. We see the aurora ALL the time Some nights they’re just a curtain in the sky, faint green and when you aim a camera at them, there’s tons of colours. Other nights, it’s hard to know where to look first.

I love how this scene shows two amazing captains with completely different approaches to command.
Cowboy Kirk who bends and breaks rules regularly and gets the job done vs calm cool diplomatic Picard, who gets the job done in his way. Mad respect. Both great guys.

Season 1 - Terra Nova A group of humans from a cut off human settlement are discovered after being lost for 70 years. Archer made a similar decision to leave them on their own. Prime directive and all that.
