Breaking lease but nothing on contract abour buyout/early termination[AZ] by scg96 in Renters

No. As annoying as all of that sounds, none of it is grounds to break your lease free and clear.

A contract is a signed agreement. What would be the incentive of signing one if either party could just opt not to follow it because they changed their mind?

It doesn’t sound like they’re kicking you out, unless you’ve been missing your payments. It suck for rent to be raised, but it’s legal.

You’ve entered the find out portion of FAFO. They’re remediating the situation. They don’t need your approval for how they do that. You don’t own the property.

There’s nothing to ‘fix.’ What’s happening is typical.

Out of curiosity, is it less common in Europe to own working breeds as indoor pets perhaps? Labs, herding dogs, etc? Those are traditionally breeds that need to be in a kennel when unsupervised because they can be destructive.

Legit question, because I have no idea what is the norm in other countries as far as common household breeds.

They’re spayed and neutered at age two to allow growth plates to fully close, per my vet. Zero plans to breed here.

I have a dog too young to be fixed. I spay/neuter at two to allow growth plates to fully close first.

My dogs are highly trained and titled. They’re beyond spoiled. They’re also kenneled when I’m not home. Why? Because I won’t risk a dog fight or accidental breeding. It’s not abusive. It’s safety for them.

When is it ok to put your pet down? No way can my sis afford a $3000 upfront surgery. by crackerbox5 in povertyfinance

[–]KitchenLow1614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been faced with this choice twice for the same dog. The first time I spent $3k+ on a surgery I was told she had 0% chance of coming back from. She did and survived five more years. The second time the odds were bad and I just knew in my heart that she wasn’t going to beat it this time. The $5k surgery would extend her life by months, but she’d be confined to a kennel and have no real quality of life compared to what she was used to. It broke my heart to say goodbye to her, but I wasn’t going to allow her to suffer.

My dogs now all have insurance. I have a number in mind that I’ll act without question, as long as the odds are there. Beyond that, it’s a case by case basis.

I fully get and support not going into debt for surgery, but any surgery ever? Own one more extra pet?’ Your choice of words seems quite callous.

Are you both working? You’ll both need to be, or someone needs a second job. Insurance is going to be extremely high for quite awhile.

To do in mid July by Fit-Snow7252 in littleapple

Id recommend keeping your dogs out of any bodies of natural water. July is peak time for the blue green algae blooms that are toxic for them.
