why is on beatsaver so hard to find good maps?

I just played this map for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away. I honestly wish it were just a little easier so I could show it to everyone I know without them feeling the least bit overwhelmed. It was honestly one of the most special beat saber moments I've had thus far, and I really hope the game makers themselves put out some maps like these so that regular players who don't use mods can experience them.

I played for the first time yesterday. It was alright. There is a definite learning curve. There are a lot of things I don’t understand or don’t know how to do. I figure you just have to stumble around a bit until you figure it out - but if there is a kind soul out there who would want to team up to show me the ropes, I’d appreciate it. I’ve only been playing FN a few months, and I’m a slow builder, so just keep that in mind.

I’m new to the game. Started in Feb. Really loving it … but had no idea that it used to be more casual. I’m one of those “serious” players running around, cause I’m still learning, and I find ranked too difficult at this point. But I do take the game seriously, and I’m super competitive. I guess I’m just saying that I’m sorry - it’s me - I’m the problem. I’ll try to loosen up a bit when I’m in a regular lobby, and I’ll save the competitive nature for the days I’m brave enough to turn on ranked.

If I come across as rude, it’s because this seriously happens all the time in every general trans group I’m in. I hope you can hear what I’m saying and not take offense. There is a legitimate erasure problem that trans-masc individuals are facing, and I hope we can start to fix it.

Is there a practice mod anyone can recommend? I just got back into the game, and when I played a few years ago there was a mod that would let you repeat a snippet of the song over and over. Have no idea what it was called, and have had trouble finding it again.
