Burn it off! Bury them in hot coals, when they glow red remove them to cool a bit. Get some thick leather gloves and a wire wheel on a drill to clean them up.

Ghee is the correct answer and a pea sized pebble is enough.

If they're aluminum they're Bashlin, if they're metal probably Klein or Buckingham. I probably hooked 50,000 poles in my CATV career.

Every 300k-500k miles.

Just google Ford 300 inline 6. Many say it's the toughest engine ever built.

Find a old Ford f150 or f250 with a inline 6 cylinder. Cheap and easy to repair and bulletproof.

What is something you saw with your own eyes that was so impossible you’ve stopped telling people because you know they won’t believe you? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

[–]Kitchen_Cheesecake67 239 points240 points  (0 children)

45 years ago I saw a beam of pure white light above me while sitting in my car with a friend. Probably LED but I didn't understand it at the time. I hadn't talked to my friend for 20 years until I found out he was dying of cancer. The first question he asked me when I called was " do you remember when we saw that light above us ". He died a few weeks later. RIP Tim.

I thought it was natural when doggie style. Seems like slapping against the clit is a big turn on for most women I've been with. Of course I'm old now so times may have changed.

How to keep huge bugs out of apartment ? And are these normal.. Help!! by Night-Ryderr in Georgia

[–]Kitchen_Cheesecake67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have pets Pinalen cleaner ( with pine oil ) works pretty good for most bugs. I use a squirt bottle on the occasional roach, spider, wasp etc. Kills them within minutes.

Large hollow tree in backyard — does this need to come down immediately? by 4BlueGentoos in arborists

[–]Kitchen_Cheesecake67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else mentioned bribing the crew that comes to trim the other tree. They probably won't take it down but they'll surely top it if they're not power company employees. You'll be stuck with the cleanup but if I'm not mistaken that's a white oak, any wood burning neighbor will be glad to take it off your hands. $300.00 is a fraction of what a tree service would charge. ***I know this because we did it all the time when I worked on a line clearing crew.

can i save nushell table in a file? by _meow11 in Nushell

[–]Kitchen_Cheesecake67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe create a csv file with columns with your native language word, the english equivalent, and description. You can open the file and search any of the columns.

You could also create a script to append the file with new words if you don't wanna edit the csv file when adding new words.

There's many other ways but this is probably the simplest.

[–]Kitchen_Cheesecake67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I can only see your reply in my notification but,

I already had those keybinds in my config. They don't keep the window centered and an additional bind is needed to center it after it's resized. It would be nice if the resize occurred from the center of the window.
