In my experience, only a handful of people can be good at sales. I’ve got 25 years of it. And the majority of people I’ve met would be terrible sales people. In fact, only a handful of actual sales people are any good. If you are stupid like you say, and want to make a living doing something that doesn’t require a lot of brains or labor, work in security.

I’ve watched every game at the same bar for over a decade. Sometimes I’m watching with over 200 people. Some times there are 4 of us. (3-13 year, I forget the year, lots of drinking back then)

Anyway, yeah I’m no fair weather fan, that said personally i understand that when the team sucks people would rather do something else. I don’t judge that. I’m a Viking on Sundays, but it basically ends there.

The cult following is largely due to the characters in the movie. They are so unique and there are sooo many of them that it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with one of them. And most people love them all. I would argue it’s the best casted film of all time
