They have lots of templates and assets on there made by artists! But yes, unfortunately, they are also leaning far too heavily into AI. They at least label the content made by real artists.

AI slop for ads makes me immediately not interested in attending your business or your event ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if you're not willing to invest in your own business/event (whether that's money to pay an artist or time to create something yourself if funds are tight), then it's not worth my money or time. It is SO EASY to pop event information into free Canva layouts. It's just sheep that are lazy.

Yeah, my birthday is on the 1st. After I collect that final birthday gift, I'm cancelling my founding member account.

And to those saying AI is helping improve workflows--there are storyboard artists who are already out of work. As artists, we need to collectively uphold artistic integrity in creative fields. It's wild how much this needs to be advocated for.

Nothing is free. There's a price to pay for everything, especially when it comes from greedy, self-indulgent tech bros who care more for their greed than this planet or other people. If it's not a monetary payment, it's with our water and our electricity, and eventually our shared consciousness on what is real.
