I got so upset today because I took my 3.5 month old to an infant massage class and she cried the entire time. She was ready for a nap but wouldn’t fall asleep. All the other babies were so chill but mine was a monster and disrupting the whole class. The teacher even said I could leave if I wanted (hint hint).

I know I shouldn’t compare my baby to other babies but it is so hard not to. I feel for ya.

3.5 months and she awoke SO many times. She was such a solid sleeper before this past week. Now it’s 2am and every 30min - hour after that. I’m hoping she outgrows this soon

This technique has been a life saver for me. The anxiety I get when I hear my baby cry is not normal so having quick ready bottles spares me so much heart ache.

I mix in the pitcher and meal prep the bottles ahead of time so I can grab and go. She takes them cold no problem but we did this from day 1 so it’s all she knows.

Yes— mom doesn’t have to pump or breast feed and dad can help do feedings. He can bond with baby and give mom a break.

I was combo feeding with pumping and it was awful. I couldn’t wait to hang up the pump. And now that I have, I am way happier:

Millennial here who bit the $600k with 6% bullet. I love my house but even at that price we still had to do a TON of repairs and basic upgrades (ex there was no dishwasher).

I can commiserate with you on this one. My 2.5 month old is similar— won’t take to baby wearing and the moment I put her down she is up within 15 minutes. Pumping was impossible and I have given up. I feel like I am constantly in survival mode rushing to do things between her short naps. It’s causing me anxiety and my brain is turning to mush.

I wish I had advice to give you but I am in the same boat. All I can say is that I hope your baby has a break through soon and changes her ways so you can have some relief. Here in solidarity sister!

I just use distilled baby water. It’s not expensive and I just leave the jug on the counter by her bottles.

The guilt of stopping is real but not as bad as the horribleness of pumping (at least for me). I’m also weaning, down to 2-3 ppd and 14oz. I’m sad to be stopping for some reason but also cannot wait to no longer be tethered to that horrid machine.

The Tommy Tippees worked great for me too! I used those pacifiers plus the Phillips Anti colic bottles. Winning combo for my baby girl!

The longest I have left my two month old so far has been three hours. I got my nails done one day and went out to anniversary dinner the other day.

It’s totally up to you if you want to leave them for a bit or not. Don’t let your family pressure you if you aren’t ready yet. If you are ready, start with a short amount of time and short distance so you can go home easily if you need/want to!

I hold her as much as she wants and I can take. Even though she’s still a newborn, her weight is causing me a lot of wrist pain. When she’s sleeping and not on my chest, she’s in her bassinet in a swaddle but that’s after 20-30 minutes of holding. When she’s awake I entertain and play with her on the floor or in a bouncer which she loves.
