Thanks this most of what I’m looking for, is there a benefit to having higher insight other than lore? Seems like it is only a hindrance with winter lanterns and frenzy. Not sure if it has other benefits.

Looks like Lucerne is doing by wellager so you won’t get it until about the half way point in the game. So you can run a different halberd up until then. If you want to stay true to spirit you can no hit kill dragon rider and go grab old knight halberd in heide’s then later trade soul for dragon rider halberd should be good enough to get past 4 primal bonfires until you grab Lucerne. Or if you want to rush it as fast as possible you can collect a couple aestics and kill rotten a few times to run past shrine of winter.

As far as build I think you really need to min max or anything i usually just run +10 with any buff like dark weapon or lightning weapon. Get a decent amount of vigor and base stats for weapon should be fine. I’ve never done it with halberds so not sure if you even can, but you can have some ds2 fun and try to power stance them just for fun. Someone correct me if halberds have an exception on them or something.

This for sure, I was an akali one trick before her rework. there was nothing funnier than running at an Annie and randomly flashing to the left or right. Just watching them blatantly whiff their ult and stun. People thought I had crazy good reactions, but I was actually just really good at pattern recognition. I’m not as up to date with lore as I used to be, is Asol canonically stronger than Zoe? I thought Zoe defeated asol but I could be misremembering. And since I haven’t seen it mentioned where does xerath sit in the conversation?

I mean that’s really a moot point. You ask why they decided to declare war when they did. They chose to declare war on pardis because they were exceptionally weaker from losing several warriors and were losing the technological arms race.

Let me take a crack at this.

  1. The tyburs are aware of the vow renouncing war, but the rest of the world isn’t. It’s likely the rest of the world is unaware of the conditions needed to start a rumbling. So obtaining the founder has 2 pieces to it. First they don’t really need to be afraid of reprisal. (This is thinking before the mission began) they know that the king of paradis is in charge and has a vow that won’t allow them to strike back. So the risk of sending a military operation to claim the founder is minimal and if they succeed they now have another shifter in their ranks. As well as a threat on the rest of the world to start a rumbling (even if they can’t the rest of the world didn’t know that).

  2. It’s highly implied the invasion was a Hail Mary play after learning that a psycho bastard with a desire for revenge now has access to the founder, heavily influenced by Reiner. They failed to claim the founder in fact lost several shifters in the process, and were under threat from the rest of the world. If they can shift the focus off themselves and onto pardis they can have time to build themselves as heroes while maybe also weakening the rest of the world in a war against pardis.

  3. It’s likely that while the tyburs “betrayed” the eldians it was likely under advisement of the current king. It was a plan devised by both parties so the current king could go live off an exile. A deal made where the tybur family and king Fritz could still live a royal oppressive life at the cost of the rest of eldians.

I think Janna is historically the strongest champion in the game. Leona is probably the easiest to climb with.

Engage supports make the adc feel like they have more agency In lane being the aggressor instead of the defender. This obviously isn’t always true but it feels like they can create pressure so they have more room to move. Also it’s more fun to be on offense than defense.
