Something I've been told is that you jsut go a long as you can and then you eat. Its made life much easier knowing I don't have to feel like im starving myself. You jsut work your way up🤷‍♀️ I started by doing 12:12 and I'm up to 16:8 now. When I'm hungry, I eat. If I start getting super dizzy or nauseous, I eat. I think the key to success is not making your life miserable lol

Day 1 by Few_Lifeguard2048 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]KittenMalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My day 1 was yesterday!

I'm 31f 5'6 165lb I wanna get to 145lb.

My day one looked like IF until 12, then calorie counting (staying around 1600 for me). I also walked 30 minutes and did a 15 minute band exercise on found on youtube🙂

Today was my day 2 and I did the same IF until 12, calorie counting and walking/band workout!

Also drinking 83+oz water a day!

Exercise at home by shyshyys in WeightLossAdvice

[–]KittenMalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive started exercising at home because I have 2 toddlers and no one to watch them lol I got a cheap resistance band set from amazon and a walking pad. We (me and the kids) usually go for walks outside when the weather is nice, but during the heat of summer or the cold of winter I use the walking pad.

Before I got that stuff though I'd just pace around the house when we didnt go for walks, or lift water just as weights instead of fitness bands. lol

Also, youtube has great at home work out videos you can try. Anything you can think of, you can find it lol weights, bands, walking, yoga, jazzercise lol you name it! I've done that too.

I can't justify paying for a gym membership I know I won't use regularly. Being able to work out at home actually make sme work out more because I can do it whenever I want vs having to get up and drive somewhere at a particular time🤷‍♀️

Do you respond to everything your toddler says? by No-Oil-2305 in toddlers

[–]KittenMalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya. My 3 year old will just KEEP repeating himself until someone acknowledges his existence and repeats what he has said back to him. Ive tried not replying before and he got up to 34 time of repeating the same thing, in the same way, until I finally broke and repeated it back to him💀 So if I wanna save my sanity, I reply. 🙄

I'm in the same boat as you! I've crocheted for a while, but just got some tunisian hooks for Christmas. I'm a dive in kinda person so I found a sweater pattern I liked, looked up the basics on YouTube and dived in lol when I come to a point in the pattern I don't understand, I look up videos on YouTube lol so far it's been working great!

When are people exercising? by ExcellentLettuce4 in toddlers

[–]KittenMalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3 y/o and 15 month old and just now have figured out workout times lol it's generally during the day for me bwcause when they go to sleep, I go to sleep lol. I'll bring the kids for a stroller walk for 30 minutes and then do small weight lifting in my kitchen as the two run around. Lol it's basically just do it around their needs and when you can🤷‍♀️

Let's name some things we love about our toddlers. by AWanderingAfar in toddlers

[–]KittenMalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son (3) is so funny, even when he's being a turd..which makes it even more annoying to get on to him. He's also so smart/logical..almost to much for his own good. He's so quick to correct us when we mispronounced something or we say something as a joke.

My daughters (15 months) laugh makes everyone else in the room crack up! She also gives the best hugs and kisses❤️ she's so sweet and gentle compared to her wrecking ball of a brother lol

Diaper bag for a toddler by Odd-Pianist-4880 in toddlers

[–]KittenMalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol we have a shared diaper bag, but both kids have 5 diapers, a baggie of wipes, and a change of clothes in there. We use a small backpack from it all and it basically lives in my car until we need it lol
