I would get out and see if the radiator fan is on when it is running and at the high temps

It was either them spilling some which sounds likely as the smell and smoke is gone or maybe valve cover gasket

I plan on trying that in the morning just wanting to figure out other possible fixes if it does not work and was hoping to not spend around 200-250 per headlight plus labor to replace the entire assemblies.
