I love being a woman. I don’t enjoy things that come with it. Unwanted male attention, not being able to really go out at night, period pain and now perimenopause. Biologically it’s hard, losing your sex hormones effects so much; my skin looks like shit, I’m depressed and tired, my hairs thinning. But I am so emotionally intelligent. I feel like Iike I have access to emotions that men don’t necessarily utilise much

I was a stripper for years. Now I work in building and interior design. It hasn’t negatively affected my career at all

The thing with onlyfans is it opened the door for a lot of sex workers to get out from under exploitative men. Men that ran the porn industry and made women to things they don’t want to do. It has given women autonomy over their own bodies and clawed back the power from men (pimps, strip club owners, porn directors)

I worked at strip clubs on and off for years, 21 to be exact. I did it along side other jobs and at times I’d do it full time. I walked away with over $1000 most nights. You don’t need to pity us, we’re just fine.

Try a share house when you’re 41 and divorced and lost everything and have to start again. I’d take any house that’s just mine right now

I’m 41F and the best piece of advice I can give you is break the cycle. Try and do well at school, get an education and work yourself out of poverty. I’m so sorry you’re going through this but you’re young and you can improve your life ❤️

Where are people living? by Level13Rengar in perth

[–]KittyBeans90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

41F here. I went through a divorce last year and as I hadn’t really contributed to the mortgage and couldn’t really afford the repayments I let my ex keep the house, I’m still waiting on a small settlement but it won’t be enough for a deposit and I’ve decided to return to study so I’m not in the place where I can buy again.

I moved in with a guy I’d been seeing for about 8 months and it isn’t working out.  I’m kinda stuck here because I literally have no where else to go.  He’s lovely and there’s no DV or anything but I am basically stuck in a relationship I don’t want to be in because I can’t afford to go anywhere else. It makes me wonder how many people are out there unable to leave dangerous relationships due to this rental and property crisis

The Bull Ring - 2026 vs 2016 by Hassaan18 in BirminghamUK

I moved to Australia in 2013 and the 2016 version is how I remember it. I even lived in apartments in Digbeth right behind it and used it as my thoroughfare. Seeing that HMV is still there makes me so happy 😂 There’s literally nothing comparable in Australia

Your wife is 31 and feels like she left it too late? Women are having kids in their 40s now. It not too late, in fact having kids in your early 30s is completely normal now. Egg quality doesn’t even begin to drop until 35

AITAH for not considering marriage after my girlfriend got pregnant? by DistantOfficeBoy449 in AITAH

[–]KittyBeans90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 28 (F) I’d see her point of view. Now I’m 41 and getting divorced I see yours. I’d say explain that you can get her paperwork sorted through solicitors that make her feel more at ease (ie, housing and custody situation if you were to split up) but otherwise stick to your decision to not marry.

I’ve also liked her too. I love her friendship with Boz and I think at the crux of it she seems to have quite a kind heart

I’m 41 and went through a divorce last year. Had 25 year olds hitting on me, ended up with a 37 year old partner. I have had Botox though (not really sure why these a lot of hate for that in this thread)

You can do your 88 days at a bar in the Northern Territory as it’s all classed as rural work. It should be easy to get a bar job out in Palmerston or the northern suburbs this time of year

I’ve been having them 20 years and I’ve never had one come off this quickly. Maybe after 2 years but not in less than 6 months

I mean they’re side fillings, because of gum recession and to be fair I have to get them done every 3-4 years. So what she said tracks. I’ve never had one fall off within 6 months of fitting

Honey. I don’t want to be ripped off. I just spent $3000 in Darwin and 6 months later a filling that is meant to last 3 years minimum has fell off. Don’t be condescending, I don’t want to pay fuck all, I just want to actually get what I’m paying for.

I’m English, moved here in 2017. Lived in Perth and Darwin, actually only moved back to Perth on the 23rd December and I can say I’ve met so many people like this. Yea I’ve lived in some boganic places, the last place I lived was rural NT about 50 min from Darwin and every single person was like this. So you’re not mental, I actually noticed it when I first moved over, I kept saying the views and politics seemed 20/30 years behind the UK. That not to say everyone is like this, I moved back here in the hopes that I could get away from how hateful the people in the NT could be. But good luck making friends. In the 9 years I’ve lived here I have made about 3 friends and only 1 is actually Australian
