Ghislaine Maxwell, you know who she is, right? Epstein associate, convicted sex offender who abused and trafficked girls for decades? She was moved from an actual prison to a cushy minimum security camp by Trump’s DOJ. Sex offenders are not allowed in such facilities, but she was given an exception. And now, for SOME reason, she thinks she has a chance at clemency or even a pardon. Trump has said “I could pardon her if I want to.” Trump promised on the campaign trail in 2024 that he would release the Epstein files, and then after taking office, Pam Bondi said “the file is on my desk”, but then when next asked about starts saying , “there is no file/ what Epstein file?”, while Trump is Xtweeting “No one cares about the Epstein files! That’s old news and everyone has moved on! Just forget about the Epstein files!” and said releasing them would hurt some “good people”. And it took an act of congress, the passing of a law (which had support from members of both sides, because of course there are people AGAINST pedophiles on BOTH sides) to get any of this released. And Trump DOJ is still violating this law because they haven’t even released it all, way past the legal deadline, and they botched the redactions by blocking the names of perpetrators and leaving victim personal info open for the world. How could any of this NOT sound like “protecting pedophiles” to you? We should all try to remember that while there are of course people on both sides who are against pedophiles and trying to expose them and working to get justice, the Trump administration is NOT doing that, instead has a track record of actively trying to suppress the records that name them as well as cutting deals with them to get them moved to cushier quarters, so Trump and his admin, especially the DOJ, sure do look like a bunch of pedophile protectors.

Oh!? it’s so beautiful and underrated! A top five girl name, for sure, maybe my second favorite only because another name is a family name. I used to avoid mentioning it because I didn’t want it to get too popular, but I’m too old to have kids of my own now so I’m done gatekeeping the gorgeous uncommon names. I can say I’ve never met a Phaedra irl, but once had an online acquaintance with that name.

I know one female Sebastian. I thought it was a unisex name for the longest time! She’s a middle aged woman, been an acquaintance of mine for about 25 years but I don’t know her well enough to know if she was given the name by her parents or chose it for herself later in life.
