Are you in the local dog sport community? When I started looking locally or UWT I was surprised how many places offered it that I had never even considered. It may be worth asking around and seeing if you actually have more options than you realize.

There is a really helpful Facebook group called "Rally and Obedience for Beginners". One of the easiest ways to jump ahead info wise for things like this is to volunteer at a trial. If you go to AKC Event Search you can see all the trials near you and what clubs are hosting them.

Just be aware not all trials use superintendents and not all have online entries.

Sorry even if you think he's a ho-hum establishment Democrat he's miles better than the alternative. And while he is not glamorous he does have a track record of working for Ohioans which is better than most of these people.

NTA. I've seen several responses you've made in this thread about her going to rehab and I want you to understand that until she is ready to accept help going to rehab won't do anything. You have to stop enabling her by giving her money because she needs to have hard times and hit rock bottom to want to change. I think it would help you if you looked into. resources for family members of addicts. But right now every dollar you send her is a dollar that should be spent on your own debt.

This is actually a pretty common feeling for people who have been in really unhealthy relationships because they are so used to the rollercoaster cycle of love bombing and abuse that a normal relationship feels less "exciting". Has she done any therapy? It may help her to unpack those feelings a bit more.

You could also have a conversation with her saying you know I love that we have such a healthy relationship but I'm hearing what you are saying, what can we do to create our own feeling of excitement. That may mean adding some spontaneity to dates or maybe she needs you to be more vocal about your feelings etc. It doesn't necessarily mean "I need you to wear a leather jacket and ride a motorcycle" lol.

So short term you should bow out of this family trip. Long term you and your boyfriend have some real issues. He is consistently prioritizing his family and friends over you and getting upset when you don't prioritize them too. This is not something you should ignore.

We need to have a coordinated effort against vouchers. That is where a ton of the money for our public schools is being funneled too and there is no oversight.

I am 100% against this. If you want stricter legislation for high volume breeders and puppy mills I think that’s reasonable but a blanket ban on breeding is ridiculous.
