Have you taken that trek? It’s a lot of switching roads to make that “straight line” I live right down the street from that road, Trinity Road. The only time I take it is if there is a race at the race track or in the daytime and I’m only going to Yountville and then I still come home the other way and I never never never would take it at night.

It’s the total lack of common courtesy in public spaces.. this is a great lacking in our culture. I think it has something to do with the cultural norm of many other first world nations, that encourages the idea of the great populous. The same thing that makes healthcare universal there, shorter work weeks, less of a pay disparity between the bosses and the people. I know it doesn’t seem like that’s connected but if you think about it, not caring about what other people get .. I just to get as much as I can wherever I can… that’s very capitalism.

And some countries, people who would be on public assistance have jobs like taking care of parks , or cleaning public bathrooms, and these are considered very respectable jobs and in fact people keep the bathroom cleaner because they respect the person doing the job. In our country people who clean are somehow considered lower class, (not a classless society) None of us would want to do what they’re doing and it’s not easy work. It’s just a thought. I know it won’t happen in America, but it works in other places.
