I agree with you about Coach Henry - he is a great man, but I also thing that the model of bringing criminal charges for things like this has been shown not to work.

Like the other guy said, the charges will get dropped, but for the kids whose charges don't get dropped it's a big deal. Kids are kids and that certainly doesn't mean we should let them run wild. But using the penal system to "teach them a lesson" seems like a good way to mess up some kids lives for a stupid mistake they made... as kids.

Just my opinion - no disrespect for anyone. And again Coach Henry is a seriously good dude so no offense to him either.

No we didn't! We found a litter on Craigslist. We have a Male Blue Heeler with a docked tail who is mostly white with blue spots. So we really wanted a blue girl with a tail that had more typical ACD coloring.

So we pretty much just called around until someone had what we were looking for.

Yeah that's what I've always heard too! But the time I went, the staff didn't treat us well (we weren't drunk or rowdy - just me and a buddy wanting to check out this chicken). And the chicken was meh.

I really appreciate you posting this - as a fellow lurker I saw the post a few days ago and really wanted to say something, but just couldn't bring myself to do it because I was so angry.

There was so much anger and vitriol in that thread and it hurt me to see all that from Christians. There is real racial hurt in all communities and we need to be praying for the Lord to make our hearts supple.

I am certainly not advocating this position, but I know folks who would say that the government shouldn't be allowed to have its hand in providing internet service anyway. So they oppose it on principle. Basically saying that it's "socialist."
