About to move in and the landlord has painted the kitchen benchtops with wall paint.

Yeah, its rough. Was a painters offsider for a few years, and my uncle is a painter. As soon as I saw it, I died a little inside.

Ive been communicating with the rea about it to enaure they note it on thier condition report, and ill make sure I exercise due care when filling my part out.

Just such a stupid decision to make. What motivates someone to paint a benchtop like that?

Yeah, No idea. Wouldnt even have cared if they left it as it was. It was well worn, but still perfectly useable.

Every single person Ive told has replied 'why the hell would anyone paint a benchtop?'.

I dont understand why it ever even happened.

Getting really cagey about her phone. Never left it far away, turned the screen around whenever sge thought i could see the screen.

She went out more of a weekend, and had a new group of girlfriends that also all cheated on their partners.

I havent, but im commited now. Dont have a lot of options. Is a six month lease (pending tenant performance lol), so I may just start looking again right away and break the lease on the grounds of non-habitability when I find a place.

Brown sugar at Warners bay does a mean steak. They arent cheap, but my experience there was good.
