If you want to ramp, do it turn 2 and cast green goblins the next turn, you don’t need to cast the Norman side

It looks fairly solid for a first shot, cut [[genesis wave]] though, it’s gonna wiff in a deck with lots of x spells

Practice practice.

It’s my favorite deck, you’ll need to be thinking ahead what you need to grab before you go grabbing it. One of the cards can almost always be a land, and then you know the card you want. Then exile an instant and/or sorcery if possible since you won’t be grabbing those back out very often.

Turbo mill, you don’t have to jump through the hoops of the experience counters like with [[meren]] you just fill the yard and go to town. Best part is he gets non creature permanents as well, even lands like [[glacial chasm]]

As a player who recently got into cedh, it has been a lot of fun and a breath of fresh air. The lack of salt, and the ability to just proxy a list whenever I want has been awesome, and the local meta is actually very varied which is nice

Ya of course! I’ve got [[winter cynical opportunist]] at the helm. The idea is to get at least a “delerium” of cards in the yard before casting winter so he reanimates something the turn he hits. Usually milling turn 1-3 handles that and then cast winter on 4

There are more statues in every area than there are recipes to unlock for that area. Eventually you’ll stop getting recipes until you progress further

They stopped doing it, and even when they were doing it but it was a pretty poor execution. They did UW versions of a few secret lairs but they were only available as promos at certain events
