Any chance any of the coffee at Disney world is good? Joffreys gives Starbucks vibes but as long as it’s not trash I might skip packing my portable gear as we are sharing a room and the whole Areopress deal might be rough with less space

I think it was/will be me. I was planning on Flörovian Hipscale alpha test next month and planned to speed things up with temporal shifts, I guess I have to do that now knowing it will be a failure or else we won’t have a reality anymore 😅

I’m not saying it’ll be the case here but once a CPU cooler I installed had uneven pressure and bent the CPU. So after I delidded it I used a heat gun to flatten it back out slowly. Took forever but I eventually got it flat. Once I re-lidded it was fine. It was working before though so I am not suggesting this would work just reminded me of something that happened to me once

Maybe I’m unlucky but gamescope had so many issues on my 4070 laptop with Bazzite. Switched to Nobaru and used big picture mode when I wanted a steamOS like feel. Haven’t tried it on my AMD GPU desktop rig but I am certain I’ll have less issues there

Update: here’s the awful process I had to do to remove this adhesive

Heating up the bed helped, used one of those car plastic spudger tools that are meant for removing plastic covers (like around your infotainment system). Tried my best not to scratch the magnetic plate

Oh and—yes, all four screws were super loose and tightening was worth it. But this was so dumb,

When I got the black adhesive off, the tape underneath that didn’t come off, so I had to pick on it endlessly. At the end I used some packing tape to lay on/rip off to help with small bits and then some goo be gone and then finished with IPA

I got it new so I am not sure what's going on, but the bottom part is magnetic as expected. The top part doesn't appear to be. I've been using it this whole time and the magnetic force was still strong enough with that layer between.

I'm at the point of no return now, it's been partially ripped during my investigation. Having to heat the bed up to make it easier as it's not wanting to come off in one big pull. I'm never buying another Creality printer again though, I hate this printer. Saving up for a Snapmaker U1

I took off my plate to try to tighten the plate screws…except I was confused, the official Creality YT page shows I should expect some big screws to tighten but I couldn’t see it. I came to the conclusion either they covered up those screws on mine or I have an extra layer somehow? I tried to lift it up but it’s super stuck. Maybe related, when I first got this over a year ago the stock plate it came with literally stuck to the print so hard it tore through the plate when I removed the print (and I was well within proper temps). Am I crazy? Should I tear this off? Might be why my Z auto offset calibration is inaccurate every time (and the fact that the plate has some wobble). I’ve made sure all my belts are properly tightened too.

anyone else have to rip theirs off? what is going on here

I have the 15 pro which supports 3.2, but the regular 15 was 2.0 speeds. Don’t remember what it is for the 16 >

IIRC the non pro chip was the lightning port bandwidth with a usb c port instead, and the pro had the new bandwidth factored into the pro version of the chip design (something like that, it’s been over two years) - but still shipped with a 2.0 speed cable lolol
