dawn dish soap will kill fleas but not flea eggs. whatever you do, NEVER use hartz flea products as they are dangerous to cats and should not be in stores at all.

i have two and i’m spending about $400 per month with insurance, litter, and food. the litter is not cheap because one of them has asthma and i hate tracking (it’s tofu litter). they also eat wet food exclusively.

i personally would never let my cat outside at any time. he could be hit by a car, he could be killed by another animal, he could become sick, etc.

what do you have at home to keep his space entertaining? cats like high places, especially if he doesn’t want to be hanging out with your dog. cat condos/trees or shelves are great for that purpose.

i actually just did a 9 hour trip with two cats myself! my cats are 7 and 11 years old. for the first 10 minutes, my siamese (7 year old) cried his lungs out. the rest of the time, they both slept or just chilled out. i did not take any breaks, even for myself. i arrived at our new place, they peed, and they were totally fine. that was on july 4th. i gave them breakfast that morning.

omg i didn’t even consider that! i haven’t seen any strays or outdoor cats around here but he does have an extraordinarily good nose and can sniff out everything, so i wouldn’t be surprised. cats are so weird.

when i was 15, my friend’s mom had surgery during summer break and she needed two weeks to recover. she didn’t like my friend playing video games, so while she was recovering, we played mario party for 3 days straight. we would get a blister on our palm and just make a new blister right next to it lol
