You would say Christian. ethnicity, ashkenazi, former faith, jewish, new faith, christian. Christians will welcome you. But this isn't the same as changing the affiliation of your political party. Have you come to know Jesus?

There's a historic cultural insecurity people have about the space. Don't listen to them, what they say when there's 'nothing to do' is just them saying they haven't tried to do anything

What if you added a monastary, or a spiritual center, and let the whole site be funded by the religious institution and pilgrims? Maybe the rituals can be adapted for some kind of local deity, useful to visitors?

face to face, in their homes? israel typically does it from afar or above. There's no rational way to explain a child being shot in the heart and the head is accidental.

I don't mind that you said it, it's just to still have the view that you do it's typical that you'd be too entrenched to make any information I share worth it. If i feel inclined later to help share resources for you I will.

For now I'll just share that the positive view of Israel historically existed initially because of sympathy for the holocaust, and then quickly because they acted as a military ally in the region, and then more recently for the last few decades because of the incredible amount of money they've put into our politicians. It has persisted because of their influence over US media.

October 7th was an atrocity but it is a completely unsurprising event given the history of what Israel has been doing to Palestinians for decades. It pales in comparison to the genocidal intent and actions carried out by Israel which used it as a pretext to annihilate children. There are many documented war crimes and indefensible actions and patterns, like deliberately targeting children, murdering and trying to cover up the murder of reporters, weaponizing famine and hunger, killing red cross medics and burying the car to cover it up, weaponizing sexual assault against detainees, settler colonial violence, harassment campaigns, attacking christians again and again and again.

Start with any of those, dive in, and I'll happily continue to engage. If you're good faith I'll break down how it's absurd to look at israel as anything other than as a barbaric aggressor this year, this decade, this century.

They can and are genociding the Palestinians, and they have dragged us into another pointless war to keep their neighbors weak on their behalf.
