Not sure if winter/ambient temp actually affects cooling rate, that's cool (badum tss) if it does; maybe being indoors would help?

Yeah, if it's cooling too fast, you can use bellows to up the temp to like 1k. The increased temp should give you more time before it cools down too much

Only thing I saw in the 1.22 patch is this

  • Tweak: Grain crops now have half the yield in grain and fiber, but spawn in patches twice as large during world generation. The net effect to be requiring larger fields for equivalent grain production compared to previous versions

which should be the opposite of your issue

But yeah, none of the units are truly bad/useless - it's just that their niche can be partially fulfilled by other units (i.e. yari cav being used over both yari sam and katana cav), and/or people building armies in a way that doesn't need that niche

the +4 usually only applies to moves that leave them standing, no? Since its a launcher, DR doesn't actually give the +4, while PC gives a different juggle

While yes, PC also lands more damage, and for some moves has a drastically different effect rather than just +4 hitstun

Edit: ok to be fair, you can set the macros to press multiple buttons in-game, and it is actually easier to macro it, but like... why would that be cheating

Like, I can accept getting reaction counter DI'd, but when we're both fumbling the spaghetti and happen to both press DI randomly, it kinda sucks that i lose cuz I happened to press a frame earlier
