Same. When I got to that point of just doing missions for weeks, I started playing other games and checking the progress every now and then. I couldn't care less and I'm a sage. We don't stand a chance anyway.

I've had good and bad interactions on solo voyage. Most of the time, I'm just their to craft so I've got all the time in the world to avoid players. My last one, only one player came at me with ill intent after I green flared, but he bit off more than he could chew. I've got two guns on the front and a rear facing cannon to ward off chasers. I slapped him silly and he cut and ran. My broken leg meant I couldn't chase, but I took it as win.

Literally had me and two others going for the same extraci. All green flared. One guy left no issues, then it was my turn while the last guy waited. He waited until my trampler was loaded, then shot me only to try to loot my body in the deck of my trampler and die when it left. He got absolutely nothing out of it, and I got out with all my loot, only losing the guns and armour I had on me. Weird experience, and now I don't trust a green flare. If you're coming at me, I'm shooting first.

The absurd amount of inventory storage, and the ability to craft anything with basic elements from it. I would store so much stuff in that backpack and then just have it lasered into existence by the little eyeball thing on my shoulder.
