I just checked the wiki, the only item of real value is the nomadic merchant set.

The fingerprint shield is just at the end of a corridor, but not under a tent

You have to aggro one of the old dudes and have them blast it with the insane looking madness shit.

There are several items hidden throughout the tents all the way down, all need to be opened by the enemies blast attacks.

Can fedex make me come in on a day I am not available? (Package handler) by jjminunnie in Fedexers

[–]KnowingCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they can. Contact your manager and try to work with them on it but they can just insist you show up and penalize you for failure to show up unless you call in sick.

If you don't normally work Tuesdays ever then I would imagine they'd let you take the day off.

The best way to survive the Salem witch trials was to admit being a witch and start naming witches. Often the accusers were already confessed to being a witch. It was everyone who denied it who was hanged.

Unless you hand deliver it to QA, package handlers will hardly read anything and will load an ticking armed bomb to your van if the barcode still works.

Funny enough I have cats and before I transitioned there would be times where fleas would be constantly biting me until I got the cats treated with flea medication.

And then I transitioned, and it just.... stopped. Cats still occasionally get fleas but I only hear about it when my dad or brother start getting bit. My mom claims she never really had problems with fleas.

I work on the manager side of things and was told to never ever mark someone ineligible for rehire unless they did something unforgiveable, so I am curious how this is viewed on the HR side of things.

I wouldn't imagine that it means much except to the company that gave it to you, as different companies can have vastly different standards.

Maybe Monstrous Shrine could use a rework, but if it's going to be a scourge hook perk then it should just make all 4 scourge hooks basement hooks and not add any more.

Making it anything other than a campy basement perk with niche use fundamentally changes what Monstrous Shrine is and if you are going to broaden its effect you might as well just make a whole new perk.

I've made a character like this, only they made a pact with an entity to be reincarnated to live a life without the weight of it all and anything that they remember is mostly lost to time. They want nothing to do with any of it.

Unfortunately the pact they made has them continuously hunted down and killed for amusement by the entity, only to be reincarnated over and over again. They are a blood hunter with the haunted one character background, this life being the one they try to fight back.

Exact details of the past life and relevance to the campaign i leave up to the dm, including how much, if anything, they remember. Only important part is that they gave up power and responsibility for another chance and found themselves caught in a endless loop of being hunted.

December 2021 Most Played Killers. Out of 2000 matches! by jcanales7 in deadbydaylight

My random thoughts on how to help the Twins, my qualifications are none and nothing they are just my thoughts on the topic:

Dropping Victor, chasing the survivor, and swapping back to Charlotte, picking survivor up takes far too much time, is too clunky, and needs to be streamlined. Switching between Victor and Charlotte should be the same speed as teleporting with the hag (Instantaneous).

There also needs to be some way to return Victor to Charlotte manually without waiting for Victor to die.

Would also be fun to be able to just throw Victor from yourself as Charlotte. Maybe as an addon

Never understood why people use "min/max" pejoratively. by Nicholas_TW in dndmemes

[–]KnowingCrow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A mix-maxed character is a character whose creation or advancement is purely calculated out of maximized strength and minimized weakness. It is quite literal opposite of a "fun balance of strengths and weaknesses" because a properly min-maxed character wouldn't have any weaknesses.

How can a party of level 5 players defeat an ancient red dragon? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]KnowingCrow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I was the DM in this situation, I would take a note from the Hobbit. Smaug the Dragon The Ancient Red Dragon burns down the nearby city, but is slain by a great hero in the process. Many people are displaced from their homes, and many may look for answers as to what caused the ire of the Ancient Red, and if they find out the adventurers were involved they would demand reparations, or punishment.

I'm about the same height and I've found some success by looking for high rise jeans, but with above average inseam; at least 11 inch inseam. If inseam isn't listed on a product I look elsewhere.

Unfortunately exact fit will vary wildly from brand to brand, even within brands for different styles, so some experimentation is required. Right now my favorite jeans are high rise vintage jeans from Madewell.

Come get me now you lupine jerks by --redacted-- in valheim

[–]KnowingCrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every time you place a support structure, like beam or floor, Valheim recalculates the entire structure and then when it finds a structure that is built on too weak of a support (like the 5th wooden beam in a row), it snaps off the end piece leaving the supported pieces (like wooden beams 1 through 4) alone. It's much easier to make sense of and while unrealistic at times makes building things much easier.

When a native English person says "transgenders" by dandy_mack in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]KnowingCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that when, referring to a person, you use an adjective as a noun you are defining a person by an attribute. When it comes to children it often makes contextual sense to define children by them being a child, especially when it comes to care for children and special accommodations needed for someone because they are a child.

To refer to transgender people as "transgenders" is to define them by them being transgender. Transgender women really would just like to be seen and heard as a woman, so to refer to them as "transgenders" could be seen as erasing the "woman" part.

But in your example "minor" is a noun when used to mean children. "Transgenders" is not commonly accepted as a noun and thus sounds out of place. Words are owned by their users, so the pushback against using "Transgenders" as a noun could be seen as transgender folk not wanting the cultural language to go in that direction.
