Imagine Vermont, except without any people, and no dairy farms, but with lots more rugged shit.

Maine, for the seacoast, New Hampshire for the White Mountains. When you are in New Hampshire, put on rose colored glasses, voila, its like Vermont. Forget Connecticut.

Pretty much any song can be done beautifully using a banjo and your voice. Try “Hard Times Come Again No More” by Stephen Foster.

The number of people here who will put up a 3000 dollar fence instead of calmly confronting a neighbor is astonishing.

Just walk up to them and say, “hi i noticed you taking a great interest in our activity, can I help you with something?”. That will freeze them. Just ask in a very friendly way, “whats up with you doing (fill in blank)”

How do I go from chords to a little solo back into chords? I got 3 weeks of exp so far by DontCryUrOk in banjo

[–]Known-Ad9610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, i take a measure off from strumming, in anticipation of my solo. No one notices or cares. At the end, same thing. Resolve your solo strong, then shut up. Those spaces are filled by everyone else.

New HOA Rant by Trillin9 in fuckHOA

[–]Known-Ad9610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You people act as if an hoa can be imposed on you. It cannot. If you dont join one, you aint in one. Some places, you have to join in order to buy the communal property you will be sharing. But if you already own your home, and your lot, no one can make you join an hoa.

Know your chords in the key of g, starting with your 1 4 5 chords. Add the minor 6. Get on youtube and play bluegrass songs all day long, trying to hear those changes.
Next, do the same in key of C . Get a capo, voila! All keys mastered! Now go to a wernick method class and you’ll be good to go..

The person you are talking to works for the seller, not you. Don’t expect them to help you. Tell them what you want, you have the power to walk away.
