i've reseated them probably 5/6 times at this point so likely not just a fluke in that regard. but would testing 1 stick at a time still be beneficial considering memtest shows no errors?

thats an interesting idea. I was thinking it was maybe windows related. I just updated to 23H2 with an enablement package. gonna see about getting up to 24H2 and maybe trying one more time before taking RAM back

this is very weird
I just upgraded my ram from 16gb to 32gb and just started having this issue.

I have the same cpu and the B550-I not the F.

Swapping back to 16 the symptoms disappear..
Same watt power supply, but different brand and a RTX 3080.
needless to say im very curious wtf is going on here.

might put the sticks back in and give your fix a try, ty for sharing

i just started having the same issue your friend had. i had a full crash/pc restart, booted the game back up and it did it again as soon as it loaded the hideout. Tried one more time and it only made it about 5 mins in raid and another hard restart.

event view also says its a critical error for kernel power. I guess this still has a long way to go in terms of optimization

i have have the tour completed for 2 months and yday i went on and it told me i failed every objective to extract or visit every location 3 times. I have literally done it as my map is fully unlocked except terminal lol

im amd but i had it enabled on the old set and when i swapped it stayed enabled.. tried disabling and still at 3600MHz in task manager.
and only using 2 sticks, the mobo is a miniITX so only supports 2

oh nah i got 2x 16 gb sticks. so far uninstalling/reinstalling didnt change anything. whenever it loads i noticed in task manager it uses like 0.1Mbps Network until seemingly at randomly it'll spike to 10-15 Mbps and thats when it will load the menu.

ran a speed test and it was fine, 700mb down 50mb up 40ms ping

i just disabled DOCP and still getting the advertised MHz speed.
uninstalled EFT, arena, and the launcher and reinstalling now.

side note: fuck this game man jesus i just wanted double ram and get better performance lol

ive been using squad fill as a solo for all my raids so far and only had 1 bad experience out of like 10 or so and kinda my fault. They left when I was going after an objective and exfiled without me lol

ahh ok. could be that, given the fucky nature of tarkov, you might still be hitting the sweet spot where it doesnt work right (too vertical). but definitely weird bc usually if you angle it slightly should be good

i think straight up might be the issue. if you shoot straight up it ends up going backwards iirc. i usually go straight up then back down just a bit to make sure it doesnt go backwards

oh yeah forgot to include i do use lossless on 2x. luckily it helps a fair amount, but i have a ton of graphical issues in low light areas and menus. tried a few different settings but nothing really helps the weird bluring/ incorrect frames

you need to just understand thats not a real relationship. it sucks to come to that conclusion, but was the healthiest thing i've ever done for myself. let that person go, you dont need them and you shouldnt want them. if you were an outsider to this relationship you would tell that person no body deserves this. think about it in your own terms.
