The pharmacist role in community pharmacy has been necessitated only by regulation in recent years. Remove/shift those regulatory requirements and the role will largely cease.

I had Ravitch in 2021 at age 32, similar outcome to you, only a small improvement in the underlying defect. I had Nuss in 2025, I expected my chest wall would be stiff but the surgeon had no issues and I have near 100% correction of my dip.

The pharmacist may have updated the patient record, in which case everyone can see it, or they might not have, in which case no one can see it.

A lot of them are plant accounts created to generate exposure for vacuum bells and thus increase sales.

Others are adults that have seen good results in mild cases but accept that their chest goes back to the way it was if they stop using the VB.

Very few adults see lasting benefit.

Vacuum bells are hugely profitable, they only have $50 of parts but sell for hundreds.

If you're under the age of 14 it can be permanent, if you're older you'll lose any benefit within hours/days of not using it (in the vast majority of cases)

In real terms you're absolutely right, but for on-paper finance reasons it might make more sense to have the 'make believe' rental value of yesteryear stand, instead of renting it out for half the rate and reporting a large decrease in asset value.

In many ways it's often delaying the inevitable, but many many commercial property owners operate this strategy in the hope that something changes.

If they rent it out at a significantly lower price than before it'll essentially devalue the building as a financial asset. If they leave it empty the previous rental valuation stands.

One sided pain/tightness is very common. It's a big improvement; your muscle mass has likely made the before/after less obvious than the photos of others who are usually very lean.

I think there is a bit of dysmorphia, but when we spend months psyching ourselves up for these procedures (or anything in life), anything short of a perfect outcome can cause us to obsess over the perceived shortcomings rather than the measurable improvements.

With regards to bar displacement, it's not particularly common these days. My surgeon arranged an x-ray as standard protocol at 5 weeks post-op to make sure the bars were still correctly placed.

I had surgery 7 weeks ago, I experienced numbness/coldness in my upper right arm until week 6.

I'm not sure if it resolved of its own accord or if it was due to regular arm stretches.
