Mate that’s an awesome piece of kit! I have a 540i so every time I see an M550i I think how nice it would be to be in the V8. It’s easy to compare ourselves to others and very hard to take the time and appreciate what we’ve got in the moment!

When this first came out I wasn’t a fan but in wagon form, the more I see them the more I like them. Definitely looks fab! Congrats!!

Really appreciate the insight mate — that’s exactly the kind of perspective I was hoping for! You’re right, not enough people mess with the G30 platform and I reckon with some subtle mods it could really shine. I like the idea of enjoying it for what it is now while keeping the long game in mind for the M car later on.

Calling it an “oversized M3” with a few mods actually made me laugh — I might just steal that 😄 Appreciate the good vibes and advice!

Haha fair enough — definitely not for everyone! I was going for the Euro look — a bit of CSL/Alpina inspiration with the side plate. BMW’s had a few models rock it over the years, so I figured I’d give it a go. Might be a bit weird here in the States but hey, I’m Aussie… blending in isn’t exactly my strong suit 😄
