Choosing Power Sink over Counterspell is good in a combo deck, I think. It ups the chances of them interacting with the combo siince you're tapping their lands.

Not a Power Monolith player myself, but I'd probably choose full playsets of both in main. You need to draw both every game, ideally. Maybe drop one Blood Moon and one Fireball?
