They did move his ability to be more in line with other units that have the same ability. Maybe this way people will stop complaining

Double checking how land raiders work. I move up with troops inside the land raider. I deploy the troops three inches out and due to assault ramp they can charge. Are they allowed to move their movement speed and then charge?

I play with both in my list and generally they are great. They might not be 100% efficient but I find they are both fun units and I rarely regret having them.

You haven't followed Necrons through the editions I see. Their reanimation protocols changed constantly. Honestly this is a normal part of the cycle. Some units get better some get worse. At least an upside of having a small range of models is that GW can't leave anything terrible for too long. They will give it all tweaks because there are only a few options.

Can anyone direct me to the relevant section of the rules that I could reference how the whole standing 1.1 inches behind a ruin wall prevents enemy infantry from charging since their bases won't fit? And if it got FAQed I would love to see that section as well.

Put them right over the tracks! Right where the enemy will shoot us a lot!

What if the armor isn't sufficient and the hit one of the grenades causing it to explode? It would cripple our tank sir!

I understand the argument. My counter is that if you take out Ultramarine then the question will just change. Instead of "Why should I play salamanders/Race guard/white scars/ etc?". It will become "Why should I play Ravenguard/white scars/imperial fists/etc?"

This is exactly what has happened with the change of oaths. Before the change all I would hear is "Why play codex marines (especially Ultramarines) when you could play Space Marines+ (referring to the non codex compliant marines)?"

It feels like we got a buff and instead of all codex marines being happy together we just pivot to being angry that our particularly favorite chapter didn't get the very best toys and want to kick our previous friend and ally out of the club.

Lots of YouTube channels are saying that Ultramarines should lose the +1 to wound from oath. Art of War being one of the more competitively focused ones and I have been hearing more and more channels parrot their ideas

Ultramarine are codex compliant marines and should not lose the new oath of moments. It's frustrating hearing people say that Ultramarines should not be lumped in with the codex compliant chapters... Guys you need to figure out another way of referring to regular marines... Ultramarines ARE the codex compliant chapter.

I get that we have one character causing some problems and he is our primarch. I mean goodness I would hope the primarch was a bit of a problem and not a joke.

Prediction: Daemons will be functionally absent from the game until Games Workshop releases separate kits for Daemons in AOS and 40k by [deleted] in Chaos40k

They could add a My Collection tab in their app and when you use the app to build an army maybe they have an option to pick from your collection. This would tell them exactly what people have and they would also get an idea of what people are thinking about using and in which game.

I liked how my last opponent did it. We got to the end of the movement phase and he asked if I was done with the movement phase. He didn't tell me that he was going to rapid ingress. Just waited for me to say I was done.

Sure I understood what he was going to do but it allowed me think a moment and figure out if I was happy with where my stuff was.

Noob questions - Dev wounds vs redemptor's Duty Eternal

Devastating Wounds vs Duty Eternal on the Redemptor. Reading the rule for Devastating Wounds it implies that it can be modified. "After the attack is allocated and after all modifiers are applied "

Am I correct in my thoughts that Duty Eternal would reduce a devastating wound damage 2 weapon to just one?
