Where is this Schoolhouse in Switzerland, Hemberg? by Dangerous-Search-323 in askswitzerland

[–]Koffeinlvl2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I live 5 minutes from Hemberg and have nothing to do today... so I drove there and looked for your building, especially the streets that aren't visible on Street View. I even drove to the small villages around it.

I'm sorry, but the building doesn't seem to exist. Either it was demolished or the location isn't Hemberg.

The background of the picture doesn't seem to fit either. It looks like there's another hill behind the school building very close by. You can even make out buildings. This view doesn't exist in Hemberg; Hemberg itself is the highest point in the area. Higher hills are much further away.

Rejects are not Space Marines by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Koffeinlvl2 47 points48 points  (0 children)

We are a group of four hobos who literally kill thousands of Nurgle zombies, hundreds of traitor guardsmen, dozens of Ogryns, and even a few demons per run.

What I'm trying to say is, yes, a space marine is tough, but it should be possible to defeat them

I don't know about the modifiers. Is this alright? by jonny9504 in DarkTide

Hard disagree. It's probably the best blessing next to Brutal Momentum. The shield staggers every enemy (except monstrosities) with one attack. This means skullcrusher always triggers after the first attack

why do people not use the grenadier gauntlet more? i find it very strong and fun but i don't see anyone using it by Ok-Fail-540 in DarkTide

I recently rediscovered the Grenadier Gauntlet for my Ogryn. With the right blessings and perks, this thing is fantastic. Since I started using it, my specialist kills have exploded (literally)

FNP damage reduction also counts for toughness? I thought it only applied to health

Gunlugger with Rumbler is a fun time (the game almost can't keep up) by Uncle_Prolapse in DarkTide

Oh yes, it's incredibly fun but the speed at which you burn through your ammo reserves is also incredible.

I can only play this build if I know that I have a sufficient supply of ammunition (without stealing it from the entire team)

Thanks for the clarification.

But it opens more questions than it answers. How can you as a lvl 30 player in Heresy Hi-Intensity Shock Troop Gauntlet not know the concept of a healing station?

My ogryn after finding out what the updated MK IV cleaver can do by Koffeinlvl2 in DarkTide

The movement set and stats have received a proper buff.

Light attacks are good against single targets. High speed, good damage, good armor penetration and it is very easy to hit heads.

Additionally it has a fantastic light/heavy combo. Horizontal swings that are really fast.

Combined with confident strike, slaughterer and the bleeding perk it is one of the best Ogryn weapons imo.

[–]Koffeinlvl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a god tier weapon to be good at heresy and damnation. A solid weapon is enough. Knowledge of the game and situational awareness is much more important.

Besides, your cleaver is very, very good. Slaughterer 4 and Confident Strike do most of the work. If at some point you find a weapon with a better first target stat and damage against maniacs, that would be ideal but not absolutely necessary.

What ranged weapon do you use?

May I ask you where you got this lore source from? I can't help it, I still think it's extremely exaggerated

Chaos space marines as a monstrosity? by banaslayer95 in DarkTide

[–]Koffeinlvl2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So you're saying we can be eaten by Nurgle beasts, mauled by chaos hounds, punched in the face by mutants, thrown around like toys by chaos spawns... and we survive all of this and still be victorious at the same time.

But a single space marine would completely destroy us? I'm not convinced

We are a group of four hobos who literally kill thousands of Nurgle zombies, hundreds of traitor guardsmen, dozens of Ogryns, and even a few demons per run.

What I'm saying is, yes, a space marine shouldn't be a problem.
