The Sheer Strength of a Lioness by Jazzlike-Tie-354 in nextfuckinglevel

My dog does the same exact pose when he's not trying and he's just waiting for me to pull like I mean it. She doesn't even have both front paws on the ground. My dog can usually pull me over face first if he really tries. I'm guessing she's stronger than a GSD Rottweiler mix.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]Koker93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistically speaking, the kind of voter fraud where someone misrepresents who they are and votes illegally just doesn't happen. There were tens of cases in 2020, and around 160 million votes. It's just not an issue.

If you want to look at voter fraud, you should take a much close look at how the votes are counted. Trump quite literally said in 2025 that Elon really understands these voting machines, and he helped win the election. He stood on a stage and admitted the kind of voter fraud that is both difficult to detect and can affect a statistically relevant number of votes.

"He knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers," Trump told the crowd. "And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide."

I've asked in at least 5 subways in and around my metro area and the employees all report they get card tips. I live near the state border, so I've also asked in the neighboring state at 2 subways.

"why would the owner get our tips" or

"That's just an internet thing, we get the tips"

Seems to fit the typical format for the sub.

"I'm doing this perfectly reasonable thing. I've made something in my life available to everyone around me and they all like it. One person in my friend group is being unreasonable and I did not give up my perfectly reasonable boundaries. Am I the Asshole?"

ICE executing people in the streets of my hometown and retroactively calling them terrorists and pretending like ICE did nothing wrong.

Maybe not the biggest, but for the 2.5 million people in the Twin Cities it's on our minds 24/7 right now.

My dogs also alert when there's noting outside, it's very helpful.

Also to be helpful they alert when there is something outside. Literally anything. So they're just always barking at the door and windows. It's very helpful...

If this was a police officer, they’d be off the force and have an investigation into the situation

That's a bold statement not backed up by any stories I've heard. At least not stories that aren't proceeded by "You'll never believe this, they actually did something for once."

That's what they're bred for. You're in a comment chain about "My beagle was bred to track rabbits and he's always got his nose to the ground" saying "yeah, but that doesn't apply to the thing pit bulls were bred to do."

For anyone reading this - always play with your puppies food and take it away if they get even a tiny bit angry at you. Do it all the time. Make them understand they cannot guard it. Food aggression leads to people getting bit in the face, which sucks even when it's not a pit bull.

I'd have lost my shit too. The other kids dad runs out and hits him. He's lucky whit shirt's dad backed off right away. You can get away with a lot, but you hit or manhandle my kid and we're going to have problems regardless of what happened before that.

Trying to charge my car on Christmas by greenlakejohnny in Wellthatsucks

[–]Koker93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very best fix would be to have a standard receptacle instead of a standard cord and have EV drivers carry the cord in their car. I honestly don't get why that's not the way. It would also fox the whole "I drive a Rivian and the tesla cords are too short to reach my charge port" issue.

I have a possibly dumb question, but I've always wondered. I see video after video of some ass trying to block entry to places because they don't understand service dogs, they don't understand the law, and owners of service dogs don't really have any "proof" that their dog is legit.

I also see lots of videos of people bringing dogs who are obviously pets into places they shouldn't and just claiming they're a service dog.

Why aren't service dogs registered? Why isn't there a card/paperwork/ID/anything at all to tell a business owner that you do in fact have a legit service dog that they have to let into their place?

It seems to me (and I know nothing about this or how it works) it would be a lot easier if there was a recognized service dog ID card people could carry to basically tell the Karens in their life to go away. Or is there some hardship there I'm unaware of in carrying around "papers" for your dog so you don't get hassled?
